Welcome to Miami Beach!

Miami Beach is a south Florida island city, connected by bridges to mainland Miami. Wide beaches stretch from North Shore Open Space Park, past palm-lined Lummus Park to South Pointe Park. The southern end, South Beach, where The Nautilus is located, is known for its international cachet with models and celebrities, and its early-20th-century architecture in the Art Deco Historic district with pastel-colored buildings, especially on Ocean Drive.

Some things to know before you go!

Weather and Recommended Dress for Late April/Early May

  • Daytime: Average highs in the low 80s with sunshine and blue skies.

  • Evening: Temperatures can dip into the mid 70s along the beach.

  • Recommended Dress: Light and comfortable clothing for daytime, a sweater for evenings, and maybe a light rain jacket (just in case!)

Recommended Attire

Resort casual is recommended throughout your stay. Temperatures may be a little cooler in the evening, so a sweater or light jacket is recommended for evening functions. Restaurants on property are resort casual.

Time Zone

Miami operates in the Eastern Time Zone. Note it will be Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) during the event. The sun rises around 6:45am and sets at approximately 7:50pm in late April/early May.
